Construction is underway along the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) Orange Line, upgrading the light rail system’s signaling and grade crossing warning systems.

Burns is providing rail electrification and structural design services, supporting Pacific Railway Enterprises (PRE) with overhead catenary system modifications. Throughout construction, Burns will oversee installation of overhead catenary structures, foundations, conductors and hardware.
