Chief Operating Officer John Burns, PE, LEED AP is the proud recipient of this year’s American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Coalition Distinguished Service Award.

The prestigious recognition acknowledges accomplishments of an individual who has significantly contributed to ACEC’s specialty groups or otherwise sustained volunteer performance within the ACEC Coalitions.

John recently concluded his term as Chair of the ACEC Coalition of American Mechanical and Electrical Engineers (CAMEE). The CAMEE forum supports collective success of ACEC’s mechanical, electrical and plumbing (M/E/P) member firms from across the country. CAMEE members gain access to best practices publications, government advocacy resources, and forums to collaborate with peer M/E/P businesses. John is now Chair-Elect of the Coalitions Steering Committee.

“I am grateful for this tremendous honor and truly appreciative of my colleagues on the ACEC Executive Committee,” John said. “CAMEE is a critical forum for exchanging best practices and enhancing peer-to-peer collaboration. This Coalition’s work is essential to support business interests for M/E/P firms of all sizes and to foster the industry’s long-term growth.”
