Burns is proud to continue serving as a Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Project Management Oversight Contractor (PMOC).

FTA’s Project Management Oversight program monitors implementation of FTA-supported major capital projects in accordance with FTA task order assignments. PMOCs support the agency in determining whether authorized projects are executed professionally, efficiently, and safely — aligning with critical budget and schedule requirements, laws, and regulations.

With the new contract, Burns plans to continue serving in our PMOC capacity throughout the 2024-2029 contract period.

For more than two decades, our PMOC team has provided technical assistance to project sponsors under the direction of federal partners. Burns offers specialized management expertise reviewing large capital projects, delivering risk-based oversight and subject-matter expertise.
