Burns Supports Installation Designs for Innovative Battery Energy Storage System

Burns provided engineering design services to demonstrate viability of a first-of-its-kind battery energy storage system (BESS).

American Battery Solutions, Inc.’s Energy Storage Solutions division (ABS ESS) recently completed successful safety tests for the ultra-high-density 7.2-MegaWatt hour (MWh) (600 MWh/acre) TeraStor™ lithium-ion BESS platform.

The pre-packaged, self-powered, self-managed TeraStor system features 99.999-percent reliability, making it the most-reliable BESS currently on the market.

Supporting ABS ESS as their engineering design consultant, Burns delivered:

Electrical site plans
Electrical single-line diagrams
Assisting with sourcing equipment
Installation specifications
