HCA Florida Osceola Hospital is a Level II Trauma Center and 404-bed teaching hospital. The Kissimmee-based facility serves the surrounding communities of Orlando, St. Cloud, Celebration and Poinciana. A Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) offers the highest level of NICU services in Osceola County.

Recent HCA Florida Osceola Hospital projects:

• Chiller Plant Upgrade and Expansion— added 2,400 tons of cooling capacity with three new 800-ton chillers, converting from primary-secondary to a variable-primary system to enhance overall system performance and efficiency. Installed new cooling towers, all-new condenser water pumps, and variable frequency drives (VFDs)
• Boiler System Replacement — phased upgrade of the hospital’s heating water, steam, and domestic water boilers and associated equipment
• Specialty Area Renovations — equipment replacements and M/E/P overhaul to upgrade multiple radiology, nuclear medicine, fluoroscopy, electrophysiology, and sterile processing facilities
• Reverse Osmosis/Deionization Water System — led design and replacement of new water treatment system equipment
